What is Raw And Living Foods?


Raw And Living Foods are uncooked vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds, seaweeds, super-foods, herbs and sprouted grains.
These foods are always fresh and whole in their natural state. These foods are not heated, processed, cooked or altered in any way. You may also hear the term "Living Foods", "Life Foods" or "Live Foods". Its always organic and fresh,and never heated above 112 degrees Fahrenheit. Cooking your foods higher than this temperature (this temp feels already warm to the touch) will start to destroy vital enzymes, the very life giving properties that mother nature meant for us to survive. Life does depend on enzymes, enzymes are needed to run all of the body systems.
Enzymes are the catalysts for all the metabolic reactions in our bodies which are run by the heart, lungs, kidneys, immune systems, they convert protein and fat and carbohydrate's into fuel to maintain the organism. Raw foods are full of enzymes, these enzymes start the digestion process in our stomach. As we age our bodies natural source of enzymes become depleted, so then we need to provide in abundance those missing and extra enzymes. When we cook all of our food, our bodies have a harder time in breaking down the food in the digestion process to soak up all the nutrients, so the food begins to get stored in the wrong places such as in our bodies as toxins, contributing to all types of diseases.

In my opinion, in order to help your body obtain optimum health the key is to eat as much living unprocessed and uncooked foods as possible, for these provide us with the complete range of vitamins, minerals, oxygen, enzymes, water, fiber and all the other vital ingredients that's needed to fuel the body.
